Message From Martin And Melanie

Our Covid Update

An individual's wellbeing is as important to us as it is everyone else - during lockdown we were shielding due to Martin's former brushes with cancer. We take health seriously.  So rest assured we will be looking after you with all our usual care and more.

We have always been scrupulously conscientious in cleaning. To add to this we have noted the new hygiene requirements and taken a Covid approved hygiene test. We allow extra 'air' and cleaning time between stays. Check in is now at 4pm.

Hand sanitisers are in the entrance hallway and in each bedroom. These are made on the Temperley Farm near us in Somerset using apples from the Temperley orchards. They are made from natural ingredients, are local and they do not dry the hands as much as some of the other products. We ask that you use these whenever you arrive and when you leave your bedrooms.

We will continue to supply our feast of a breakfast which includes our popular home-made granola, compotes and jams. Breakfasts will continue to be served in our kitchen or outside if the weather is good and staggered to allow spacing.  Our hallways are narrow so we ask guests to leave an appropriate distance between themselves and others they may meet on the stairs.

Unfortunately, we can no longer allow access to the drawing room but you are welcome to explore and sit out in the garden.

In the meantime, we continue to monitor government guidelines and follow all necessary requirements.
