Martin was involved in the garden industry for most of his life, exhibiting at Chelsea and Hampton Court flower shows and such like for nigh on 29 years. His speciality was Gothic follies, urns and pots, some of which you can see in Ellesmere's garden.
The pair met and married in 2014. They have three children between them, aged from 25 to 34, and three grandchildren with one extra on the way.
Becoming B&B hosts crept up on us in the same way the smell of coffee drifts up from the kitchen and draws people downstairs for breakfast. It suited the two of us professionally, evolving at the right stage in our children's lives and we enjoy meeting people. The house lends itself to being full too. Ellesmere has a good family-friendly feel and guests seem to enjoy their visits. But don't take our word for it, check out the place yourselves and do take a peak at our reviews.
